This is a great tool if you live in snow country and drive a big vehicle. They are used a lot in aviation because the foam can't scratch/weaken the plane. The same theory works well with vehicles. I drive a suburban in Upstate NY, the sno brum is the quickest way to clear off your car and get to work ontime.br /br /br /It seems to be pretty durable, I closed the handle in a door and the plastic end broke off, but besides that the rod is metal and the foam is durable.

If you live in a snow belt, you absolutely MUST have this product. When you come out of work at the end of the day (or your car sits out in the street), and there is a foot of snow on it, this will sweep it away in a fraction of the time as a regular snow brush. And with absolutely not even the tiniest scratch to your car. I am going to buy one for each of our cars and also for Christmas gifts. This is a MUST have!
